REVIVING a hit song sung by topnotch singer Angeline Quinto is hands down a tall order. Yet, under the cfare of a distinctively superb belter, and coupled with firm guidance by the track's composer himself, the challenge could be overcome with flying colors.  Alisah Bonaobra's version of "Hanggang Kailan" deserves to be released for good reasons, including the fact that it is essentially the "composer's cut" which to the song's creator Joel Mendoza means you have to listen to it to find out why it should be label that way and discover for yourself that it's a rendition worthy of everybody's attention.  It is the latest single from one of the country's vocally gifted recording artists, released  on digital stores last April 21.  "We recorded the track for six hours, with Joel Mendoza as my vocal coach. The candidates of Binibining Pilipinas 2023 participated in a bloodletting activity organized by the Philippine Red Cross - Quezon City Chapter at the Farmers Plaza Bazaar in Araneta City on February 18. All candidates took part in the said activity, which aims to help replenish the supply in the country’s blood bank. According to Janice Melody Alfonso, RN, PRC Quezon City Chapter Administrator, the cancellation of blood donations due to the pandemic has caused blood supply to reach “insufficient and critical level”. Binibinis who passed the blood screening were allowed to donate blood, while the rest were oriented by Red Cross personnel on the importance of donating blood. For 2023, the Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. partners with more charitable organizations and institutions to engage candidates in different advocacy work.
