BINIBINING PILIPINAS 2022 CANDIDATES GROOVE IN DANCE SESSION

Manila, Philippines – Binibining Pilipinas challenged its 2022 candidates through a tiring but fun dance workshop at The Addlib Dance Studio (TADS) in Araneta City on Tuesday, June 21. The candidates stepped up in an intensive dance session with Joe Abuda, Managing & Artistic Director of TADS. Dance Master Abuda opened the session with a sizzling display of groove and rhythm that warmed up the Binibinis. Abuda then introduced the Power Walk Session to the Binibinis to train them to maintain a confident stance on their walk while dancing. The Binibinis aced the Power Walk training as they tuned up the dance floor on their shoes from World Balance. The training was made more challenging as Abuda commanded instructions on how to remember dance steps quickly on the beat of Maymay Entrata’s “Amakabogera”. FIRST ABAA FESTIVAL, A HUGE SUCCESS!

ARANETA CITY OPENS BINIBINING PILIPINAS 2022 ACTIVITIES WITH GRAND SANTACRUZAN

Araneta City kicks off the much-awaited return of the traditional Binibining Pilipinas activities at the City of Firsts with a Grand Santacruzan on Saturday, May 14, 2022. This year's event features the 40 Binibining Pilipinas 2022 candidates, the Binibining Pilipinas 2021 queens, and Miss International 2005 Lara Quigaman in a colorful procession of religio-historical titles at the City of Firsts. Rev. Father Ronnie Santos (from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish) led the blessing and opening of the Grand Santacruzan with a Holy Mass at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. In her first lead TV role, Dawn Chang brings to life the colorful personality and unfiltered humor of Daisy Lopez, or as many know her, the viral online seller, Madam Inutz. Together with Susan Africa, Gino Roque, and Pamu Pamorada, MMK is set to premiere a two-part Mother’s Day series this May 7 (Saturday) and May 14 (Saturday). PMPC SUCCESSFULLY HOLDS 2022 CELEBRITY BADMINTON TOURNAMENT

Moving on in the new normal, the Philippine Movie Press, Inc. (PMPC) has successfully pulled off a celebrity charity fun game last April 8, 2022, at Powerplay Badminton Center located at #24 Apo St., Quezon City. Dubbed the 6th PMPC Celebrity Badminton Tournament, this fund- raising project of the Club started in 2014 and it had a two-year hiatus in 2020-2021 due to the global health pandemic brought about by COVID-19. Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte led the celebrity guests who graced the much-awaited sports event. The lady mayor lauded the PMPC for its initiative in holding sports event after the pandemic. She also encouraged members of the entertainment media to avail of the various available services of the LGU such as affordable medical for QC residents and business loan for those who want to venture on startup businesses. Paolo Marcoleta from the office of Cong. Rodante Marcoleta also graced the event. Actress beauty queen Sarah Javier came in full force with her family.
