FIRST ABAA FESTIVAL, A HUGE SUCCESS!

BY TIMMY BASIL  THROUGH the effort of Mr. Russel Ynares and Koy Quevedo, the All Binangonan Artists Association came to life with the vision to showcase the rich, colorful and historical culture of the the town of Binangonan and to promote and highlight  the brilliance of local artists to bring pride and honor to the people and town of Binangonan. 
      It is also the culmination of the first ABAA Festival in the said town  and during the festival held last Saturday (May 28), this writer witnessed a car show, a free concert featuring local and famous bands like Tanya Markova and it was a huge success.      Prior to the ABAA Festival, I was present during the press conference (thanks Cesar Ian Batingal for the invite) and for the first time , we were able to ask questions from Mr. Russel Ynares who happens to be the son of the mayor of Binangonan, Mr. Koy Quevedo, co-founder, Mr. Rap Dazo, representative for the Music, Hon. Konsehal Rey Punelas, Representative for Arts, Mr. Nani De Leon Reyes, Representative for Arts.  
When asked if he has plans to run for public office (like his father), Russel said  that he is much qualified to run for any public office but his heart for now is for the art since he himself is a musician . He also finished law.         To sum it up, the ABAA's main purpose is to help the artists (musicians), visual artists , and anything that falls under the art category to showcase their talents, to help them penetrate  the industry since the ABAA is also a record level.        During the press converence, this reporter asked Mr. Ynares if they are supporting  Nicole "Herlene Budol in her quest to have a crown in the on going Binibining Pilipinas since  Nicole "Hipon" represents the town of Binangonan and he knews Hipon from Adam, and witnessed her struggle  and he is very happy that Nicole really transformed into a beautiful lady (not a shrimp anymore) and wished her goodluck and  hopefully bring one of the crowns of Binibining Pilipinas. 
Mr. Russel Ynares is monitoring Nicole's performance at the Binibini and he was happy for the special award that Nicole won, the Miss Black Water.        From the bottom of my heart,  wish to congratulate the first ABAA Festival and kudos to the men behind it.      Mabuhay po kayo!

Madam Baby Go , owner of BG Productions that produces quality films which won local and international awards is now venturing another business - a spa business.     And why not? Most of us,  especially the working class, need to be pampered /relax after a hard day's work.        It is named THAI RELAX which specializes in  Thai Massage  known for its excellent relaxation.        It is located at Micmar Building, M. Suarez Street, Maybunga Pasig City.        Yesterday (May 17) I witnessed the grand opening of the spa  with no less than Atty.
