SM Foundation (SMFI) will provide free medical consultation and medicines to pre-listed 300 patients during its upcoming medical mission at SM City Sta. Mesa, on July 29, 2022. Other diagnostic services to be given include x-ray, sugar test, cholesterol test, uric acid test, and hemoglobin test. This social good initiative is made possible through collaboration with the Philippine Red Cross-Quezon City Chapter, SM Supermalls, and other volunteer doctors and specialists. Intended beneficiaries are members of the Philippine Movie Press Club, Inc. (PMPC) and their families plus other members of the entertainment media. Aside from medical missions, SMFI, through its Health and Medical Programs headed by Ms. Connie Angeles, upgrades public health centers in its host communities, complemented by its medical caravans across the country. To date, it has renovated more than 170 health and wellness centers and served more than 1 million patients during its medical missions.

The 40 gorgeous candidates of Binibining Pilipinas 2022 made the competition more intense as they slay the runway during the press presentation at the Novotel Manila Araneta City on July 5. Manila, Philippines – Binibining Pilipinas challenged its 2022 candidates through a tiring but fun dance workshop at The Addlib Dance Studio (TADS) in Araneta City on Tuesday, June 21. The candidates stepped up in an intensive dance session with Joe Abuda, Managing & Artistic Director of TADS. Dance Master Abuda opened the session with a sizzling display of groove and rhythm that warmed up the Binibinis. Abuda then introduced the Power Walk Session to the Binibinis to train them to maintain a confident stance on their walk while dancing. The Binibinis aced the Power Walk training as they tuned up the dance floor on their shoes from World Balance. The training was made more challenging as Abuda commanded instructions on how to remember dance steps quickly on the beat of Maymay Entrata’s “Amakabogera”. BY TIMMY BASIL  THROUGH the effort of Mr. Russel Ynares and Koy Quevedo, the All Binangonan Artists Association came to life with the vision to showcase the rich, colorful and historical culture of the the town of Binangonan and to promote and highlight  the brilliance of local artists to bring pride and honor to the people and town of Binangonan.        It is also the culmination of the first ABAA Festival in the said town  and during the festival held last Saturday (May 28), this writer witnessed a car show, a free concert featuring local and famous bands like Tanya Markova and it was a huge success.      Prior to the ABAA Festival, I was present during the press conference (thanks Cesar Ian Batingal for the invite) and for the first time , we were able to ask questions from Mr. Russel Ynares who happens to be the son of the mayor of Binangonan, Mr. Koy Quevedo, co-founder, Mr. Rap Dazo, representative for the Music, Hon.
