Madam Baby Go , owner of BG Productions that produces quality films which won local and international awards is now venturing another business - a spa business.     And why not? Most of us,  especially the working class, need to be pampered /relax after a hard day's work.        It is named THAI RELAX which specializes in  Thai Massage  known for its excellent relaxation.        It is located at Micmar Building, M. Suarez Street, Maybunga Pasig City.        Yesterday (May 17) I witnessed the grand opening of the spa  with no less than Atty. For the first time, the Santacruzan was held indoors . It features the 40 Binibining Pilipinas in their colorful procession of religio-historical titles at the City of Firsts. SB 19 HAKOT AWARD SA 14th and 15th STAR AWARDS FOR MUSIC

MTRCB BANS FILM OVER NINE-DASH LINE

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) announced today its decision to ban the film “Chasing Tuna in the Ocean” from domestic exhibition, citing scenes that prominently display the controversial nine-dash line. The film has been slapped with an “X” rating, categorizing it as "Not for Public Exhibition" within the Philippines. The decision comes after a thorough review by the MTRCB Committee on First Review, which concluded that the film's depiction of the nine-dash line symbolizes China's territorial claim over the South China Sea. Said depiction is considered an attack against the prestige of the Republic of the Philippines and is violative of Section 3 (c) of Presidential Decree No. 1986 (PD No. 1986). Pormal nang nanumpa sa tungkulin ang mga bagong halal na opisyal ng The Philippine Movie Press Club, Inc. (PMPC) kay Public Attorney's Office (PAO) Chief Atty. Persida Rueda Acosta na tumayong inducting officer sa oath taking at induction na ginanap nitong Huwebes, Enero 25, sa Peng Lai Finest Chinese Cuisine restaurant sa Times St., Quezon City. Nanguna sa oath taking ang bagong Pangulo ng PMPC na si Rodel Fernando kasama ang iba pang opisyal na kinabibilangan nina Jimi Escala (Secretary), Mildred Bacud (Assistant Secretary), Boy Romero (Treasurer), Lourdes Fabian (Assistant Treasurer), John Fontanilla (Auditor), at Glen Sibonga (Public Relations Officer). Kasama ring nanumpa ang Board Members na binubuo nina Joe Barrameda, Roldan Castro, Fernan de Guzman, Mell Navarro, Rommel Placente, at Francis Simeon.
